Are your past experiences preventing you from overcoming challenges in your everyday life? My strong belief is that everyone deserves to live life to their fullest potential. Childhood traumas, relationship troubles, difficult losses, and other experiences can leave us scarred and unable to move forward. It is through therapy that we are capable of bringing these thoughts and emotions to our awareness and working through them in a positive way.
I have experience working with clients from wide and diverse backgrounds who are facing challenging emotions and unresolved pain. I use an integrative approach mainly rooted in a psychodynamic framework and frequently draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal, and mindfulness-based practices when it’s beneficial. I focus on understanding your unique perspective and history to meet you where you are, tailoring a plan to you and your needs. I strive to bring compassion, empathy, and authenticity to our sessions and create a safe, non-judgmental environment for you to be heard.
Collaboratively, I will work with you to gain insight into your underlying concerns, challenge negative beliefs, and assist you in creating important shifts which foster personal growth. Taking a specific interest in understanding your relational patterns, I will support you in developing a better sense of self and relating to others.
